Interface assessments

Hi, friendly neighborhood interface pokers!

Here are some variations on the interface that I’d like your opinions of.

There are two ways to view these images — in your browser or on your desktop. You’ll need to be able to zoom in and out on them in order to get the right size calibration.

Getting your screen scales set up

Measure from corner to corner to get to the right zoom level for your 7″ and 10″ screen images. (On my 14″ Windows laptop, the photo viewer and Photoshop show them at the correct size when I’m at 100% zoom, but the web browser expands them so I need to dial back to 67% in the browser. Your screen mileage may vary. If you have a 10″ and/or 7″ tablet at hand, that may be the easiest way to set these up.)

The tests

Ten inch variations

This will be the standard going forward, so let’s assess these first.

Seven inch variations

There are some old-school screens at a smaller size still installed, but these will be replaced as time permits. Let’s look at these second.
